And... action! Alison Sweeney directs another episode of GH

Days of our Lives' Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady) once again popped into General Hospital's Port Charles for a little directing work.

Never one to stay still for a second, Days of our Lives' Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady) headed back over to General Hospital this week to continue her directing work.

The actress, who recently returned to DAYS for the series' 50th anniversary, announced on Twitter that she visited the ABC soap on October 15 to resume her directing work. "@GeneralHospital @valentinifrank thanks for having me direct today," she wrote (@valentinifrank being the show's executive producer, Frank Valentini). "I loved getting to play in Port Charles!"

This isn't Sweeney's first time directing GH. She first stepped into the role during the summer of 2014, shortly after walking away from her longtime DAYS role. Said Valentini at the time: "She's sort of paid her dues and spent some time learning the show. I asked her if she was available and she said yes."

While ABC isn't revealing yet what will take place in the Sweeney-directed scenes, Soap Central can report that Sweeney worked with Kelly Monaco (Sam McCall). Monaco had high praise for Sweeney, saying, "Your vision pulled it all together. #girlpower."

Watch for Sweeney's latest GH episode to air in November.
